As a Christian, I am not prepared to reject history in order to prove that my religious beliefs are right and everyone else is wrong. I believe that Mohamed existed and that he brought a message at a time when the world was in chaos and everyone was at each others throats.I don’t feel the need to renounce Mohamed’s existence so that I can justify Christianity. God can send whomever he chooses.

I see many similarities between all the major books: Torah, Bible, Koran. If we are all talking about “God” and the only difference is the word we use to refer to “God” why can’t we respect each other?

Mr. Ahmad Deedat will be missed greatly! He was and is an inspiration that brought to light the “TRUTH” through the mirky waters of Christiandom and Jeudism. He tought us how perfect were the Prophets Jesus (PBUH) , Moses (PBUH) and my HERO Mohammad (PBUH) صلى الله عليه وسلم‎ . It was through his lectures (videos) that I learned so much more about Religion of Prophets (ISLAM) and how they were mis-understood; except for Mohammad (PBUH).

Some of the arguments were good , but some were fallacy. I don’t think Islam was spread by force in general. There may be instances of coercion here and there. At times people have also converted to be close to power center, at times due to fear of persecution. But then these are past. Islam/ Christianity are competitive religions where conversion numbers were considered very important that was not the case for many other religions in the world. Today Islam is the 2nd largest religion and is fast growing. I think a saner approach from here would be to look inwards instead of numbers. Spread a message of assurance to other religions/ societies that Islam is not to capture them but for peaceful co-existence.

كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم مِّنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ

You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient.

Inshaallah let us all collectively emmulate The Prophet in Word and Deed then the world with all in it will come to us.
